Small Feed Pellet Plant Production Process
Crushing-Mixing-Conveying-Pelleting-Cooling-Packaging
As shown in the Figure, feed the oil cake & other hard /heavy/oversized materials from hoper and they will be processed by Hammer Mill Crusher to ensure their size small enough to mix with other materials. The maize (store & directly feed from ground) is sucked into the Grain Grinding Machine and crushed into fine powder. Any other powder/soft materials, such as wheat bran, bone meal, microelement, vitamin, etc, which don’t need to be crushed, they can directly feed into the horizontal mixing machine through the pipeline of grain grinding machine. All powder mix uniformly in Horizontal Mixing Machine. Then the mixed materials is discharged into the hopper of Screw Conveyor, feed into Temporary Storage Silo. By Screw Feeder, the mixed materials are uniformly and continuously feed into the Pellet Mill then produced into feed pellets. The pellets are discharged into Pellet Cooling Machine. With the cooling process, the fresh & hot pellets are cooled, the pellet temperature is not more 5℃ than the room temperature. The cooled pellets are ready for packing.

Small Feed Hammer Mill
Hammer mill crusher is suitable for crushing raw materials with size less than 30~50mm (diameter), such as cotton stalk, corn stalk, wheat straw etc. It can also crush all kinds of feed raw materials like corn, grass, alfalfa, soybean/rapeseed oil meal, rice, etc. After the crushing process, the output size of the material can reach diameter 3-5mm, which is suitable for further animal feed pelletizing process.
Feed Hammer Mill Operating Principle:
The hammer mill crusher consists of a sliding plate for raw material feeding in, crushing chamber and conveyor. There is a rotor in the crushing chamber, which is comprised of a disc and flexible hammers. It also has a sieve for filtration. During operation, processed materials flow into the crushing chamber via the sliding plate. With repeated impact and friction created by the hammer’s high-speed rotation, the material is impacted and crushed to the desired size before being expelled through the sieve. While without passing the sieve, the remained materials will repeat the process until their size is crushed into small enough through sieve. Expelled materials are conveyed through a blower and pipe before being sent to the aggregation barrel. After being separated in the barrel, the crushed material is discharged from the bottom to the bag while the air is discharged from the top.

feed pellet cooler is to cool down the fresh & hot pellets from feed pellet mill. The pellets just being made out from the pellet mill have a temperature of 70-85℃, so the pellets need to be cooled till near room temperature to meet the storage requirement, otherwise they will result in mildew. This small feed pellet cooler occupies small areas. It is convenient to transport and install and easy to dismount and adjust. The air consuming is low but the cooling efficiency is good.
Combined Cooler and Sieve is based on the drum of Rotary Sieve which is made up of Drum Sieve and Frame. There is one certain angle between the Rotary Drum Sieve and ground. The outside of the Sieve is covered by closed steel to reduce the noisy pollution. On the adjustable speed system, the drum sieve is rotating on certain speed; the pellet is separated and cooled from top to bottom on the rotating of Drum Sieve. The fine powder is discharged from the front of Drum Sieve, and the good pellet is outlet from the back of Drum Sieve. During the cooling and sieving process, the rotating is evenly, low impulsion and vibrating, and stable. The installation of Combined Cooler and Sieve is easy which can be directly put on the ground, floor board or under the storage. This machine is easy to closely collect dust and maintain.

Manufacturer’s Suggestion
In breeding, if you are breeding by yourself, then we suggest that you use what material you originally used, and when you use the chicken, duck and goose pellet machine, what other material you can use, just use the machine to press it into pellets.
The chicken, duck and goose pellet machine cannot compress green fodder because there is too much water in it. The prerequisite for the pellet machine to compress pellets is that the moisture value is about 13%.
