The commonly used methods for processing rice bran oil include oil press and extraction equipment extraction. Due to the low oil content and susceptibility to spoilage of rice bran, the production cost and yield of rice bran oil using the press method are relatively high. Therefore, most rice bran oil manufacturers use extraction equipment and puffing extraction process to produce rice bran oil
Process flow of rice bran oil production line
The process flow of rice bran oil extraction production line can be roughly divided into four steps: rice bran pretreatment, rice bran oil extraction, crude oil refining, and refining dewaxing.
Pre treatment of rice bran: The rice bran obtained during the processing of rice will contain stones, soil, debris, etc., which need to be removed to obtain pure rice bran. Then steam fry the cleaned rice bran to adjust the temperature and moisture, and send it to the puffing machine to make it a porous and soft structure, which is more conducive to the extraction of oil.
Rice bran oil extraction: Expanded rice bran can be sent to extraction equipment for oil extraction. The extraction method of oil is a process that uses the principle of solid-liquid extraction, selects an organic solvent that can dissolve oil, and sprays and soaks rice bran to fully contact it with the oil, thereby extracting the oil from the oil. The extraction method for producing rice bran oil has the advantages of high oil yield, high economic benefits, and good quality of meal. The extraction process has high production efficiency and mechanization, making it suitable for large-scale oil production. However, the leached rice bran crude oil contains various impurities and residual solvents during leaching, so the leached rice bran crude oil still needs to be refined for impurity removal.
The main refining process of rice bran crude oil
Rice bran oil refining: The refining of rice bran crude oil requires six main processes including degumming, deacidification, dehydration, decolorization, deodorization, and dewaxing by refining oil equipment. The functions of these processes are as follows:
Degumming: Removing gelatinous impurities formed by mixing phospholipids, proteins, sugars, resins, and other impurities from rice bran oil. These impurities are important factors that cause the color of edible oil to darken and become cloudy, and affect its storage properties.
Deacidification: Excessive free fatty acid content in edible oil can produce a pungent odor, affecting the flavor of the oil. Free fatty acids themselves are catalysts for fats and phospholipids, and the solubility of water in fats also increases with the increase of free fatty acids, so they need to be removed.
Discoloration: Discoloration can improve the color of oil and enhance its appearance. In addition, it can also remove polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, pesticide residues, and oxidative degradation substances caused by pollution.
Deodorization: Removing “odors” from edible oil. For example, the natural flavor of edible oil, the burnt flavor, solvent flavor, and floating unfashionable flavor generated during processing will affect the quality of edible oil. The deodorization process can be removed by using the principle of steam distillation under the condition of high temperature and vacuum.
Dewaxing: Rice bran oil contains a small amount of rice bran wax, which is not absorbed by the human body and dissolves in the oil at high temperatures. When the temperature drops, it solidifies, affecting the quality of rice bran oil. Therefore, it needs to be cooled and crystallized through a dewaxing process, and then separated into oil and wax through a plate and frame filter.
The refined and dewaxed rice bran oil is the finished rice bran oil. After passing the laboratory test, it can enter the filling workshop for a series of subsequent work such as filling, packaging, and coding, and then be sold in shopping malls and supermarkets.
The above is the general workflow of the rice bran oil extraction production line. How much does a rice bran oil production plant cost
1、 Factory and electricity costs
The construction of a rice bran oil processing factory needs to meet the basic requirements of rice bran processing equipment, including raw material workshop, processing workshop, finished product workshop, and power load verification to ensure normal operation. Factory power investment based on local consumption level
2、 Raw material reserve inventory cost
Raw material reserves should not be depleted, and should be based on equipment capacity to ensure daily processing without excessive storage. Raw material investment should be based on local consumption levels
3、 Equipment composition and price of rice bran processing plant
Small rice bran oil processing equipment costs between 10000 and 60000 US dollars, while medium to large equipment costs between 100000 and 300000 US dollars
