The higher nitrogen purity,the more energy-saving
PSA Nitrogen Generator Process: clean compressed air flows inter tower A, when passing through the carbon molecular sieve, oxygen, carbon dioxide,water and other contaminants are adsorbed, allowing nitrogen flows out as product gas CMS in tower A becomes saturated as time goes by. Then tower A stops adsorption and compressed air enters tower B to adsorb oxygen and produce nitrogen. Meanwhile, CMS in tower A begins regeneration, Two towers make alternate adsorption and regeneration to separate nitrogen from air and continuously produce nitrogen.

principle
Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) is an advanced gas separation technology, which plays an irreplaceable role in field gas supply. The adsorbent (called carbon molecular sieve) is the core part of PSA nitrogen production equipment, using different components of the gas medium in the adsorption capacity of the adsorbent is different, the adsorbent is selectively adsorbed when the pressure is increased, and the desorption regeneration is obtained when the pressure is reduced, so the alternating cycle continuously produces the product nitrogen.
In the case of adsorption equilibrium, when adsorbing the same gas, the higher the gas pressure, the greater the adsorption amount of the adsorbent. Conversely, the lower the pressure, the smaller the adsorption capacity. As shown in the picture:
Nitrogen production equipment composed of air separation
The nitrogen production system is mainly composed of compressed air air purification unit, compressed air buffer unit, oxygen and nitrogen separation unit, nitrogen buffer unit and control unit.
Compressed air purification unit
It is mainly composed of filter group, dryer, oil remover, etc.
Compressed air buffer unit
It is mainly composed of air storage tank (including accessories). Its function is to provide compressed air for the nitrogen production process of the oxygen and nitrogen separation unit. Reduce the system pressure fluctuation, reduce the air pulsation, so that the compressed air purification unit to remove dust, water and oil, reduce the impact of water and oil on the carbon molecular sieve in the oxygen nitrogen separation unit, reduce the impact of dust particles on the performance of the equipment, reduce the failure rate of the equipment.
Oxygen and nitrogen separation unit
Oxygen and nitrogen separation unit is the core unit of nitrogen production equipment, which is mainly composed of adsorption tower equipped with special carbon molecular sieve, pneumatic valve, compression cylinder, muffler and so on. According to the difference of the amount of oxygen adsorbed by carbon molecular sieve in compressed air under different pressures, the adsorption tower increases the pressure of carbon molecular sieve to absorb oxygen and produce nitrogen, and the pressure reduction carbon molecular sieve to deoxidize and regenerate, and the two towers work alternately to achieve continuous nitrogen production.
Nitrogen buffer unit
The nitrogen buffer unit is mainly composed of a nitrogen buffer tank, a dust filter, a pressure reducing valve, a flowmeter, and an unqualified nitrogen exhaust device. Its role is to balance the purity of nitrogen output by the oxygen and nitrogen separation unit, buffer and store product nitrogen, and ensure the continuous output of product nitrogen flow, purity and pressure stability. A nitrogen exhaust device with unqualified purity is provided on the nitrogen output pipe to effectively prevent unqualified purity nitrogen from being input to the gas point.
Control unit
The control unit is mainly composed of PLC controller, digital or analog module, touch screen, analyzer, solenoid valve, pressure sensor, control cabinet, etc.
