Crushing section
Crushing or reducing particle size is the main function of poultry feed processing plant. After the feed is crushed, it is more conducive to the digestion and absorption of animals. The important indicators in the crushing process are particle size, uniformity and energy consumption.
This section adopts three grinding machines and six silos to be pulverized, which can be replaced by alternating varieties. The impurities are removed by the magnetic separation device before the raw materials are put into the warehouse to ensure the safe operation of the crushing function.
Measuring and weighing
Batching is the process of proportioning each material called feed formula, which is a very important process in every feed factory. Accurate rationing of materials will provide better quality and completely nutritious feed. Conditoning and pelleting section

Cooling section
After the pelletizing process, the temperature of the feed pellet is about 60-80 degrees Celsius, with a moisture content of about 15%. A Cooler must then be used to reduce the moisture content of the wood pellets to about 3-4%, thereby making the feed pellets easier to store.
Cooling is the process of removing heat. As we know, during conditioning we generate heat and moisture through the extrusion process and heat through the granulation process. But granulation should have standard moisture and heat to achieve its storage life and keep it free from bacteria.
So we have to remove excess heat and moisture from the tray. All this is done with the help of a well-designed counter-flow cooler.
Crumbling section
Crumbling is the process of crumbling cooled poultry feed pellets into small pieces to make them suitable for chicks or hens. When crumbling is not required, we bypass the feed directly to the screen with the help of a bypass mechanism. A well-designed one should have the ability to break pellets without becoming finer.
Screening section
It is applicable for screening and classifying of mash or pellet feed. It is also can be used for cleaning of raw materials and classifyingof semi finished products after second grinding.
Sieving can be done at the beginning of the process or after granulation and crushing. The poultry feed making raw material is sieved to separate the size. The smaller size does not require crushing. The raw materials are sieved first, which can optimize the crumbling process and save energy. By sieving pellets and crumbling, the quality of the final product can be improved.
Packaging section
The end of the process in every factory is bagging, also known as packaging. Some feed mills use bulk feed. Generally speaking, after screening, most feed mills will fill the finished products into bags.
In small poultry feed factories, bagging can be done manually, but in order to increase production, electronic packaging scales, bag sewing machines, and palletizers are good choices for medium and large poultry feed production lines.
