Newspaper, also known as white paper, is the main paper used for newspapers, magazines, and books. Suitable for newspapers, magazines, textbooks, comic strips, and other main text paper.
Newsprint is produced from mechanical wood pulp (or other chemical pulp) and contains a large amount of lignin and other impurities, making it unsuitable for long-term storage. If stored for too long, the paper will turn yellow and brittle, have poor water resistance, and are not suitable for writing. Printing ink or book ink must be used, and the viscosity of the ink should not be too high. When printing in lithography, the moisture content of the layout must be strictly controlled. Due to the use of mechanical wood pulp as the main raw material, which contains lignin and impurities, paper is not suitable for long-term storage and is prone to damage.
Automatic Newsprint paper production line
Newsprint Paper Machine is used for making Newsprint paper. The output paper basis weight is 42-55 g/m² and brightness standard 45-55%,for news printing. News paper is made of Mechanical wood pulp or waste newspaper. The quality of output News paper by our paper machine is loose, light and has good elasticity; the ink absorption performance is good, which ensures that the ink can be well fixed on the paper. After calendering, both sides of Newspaper are smooth and lint-free, so that the imprints on both sides are clear; Paper has a certain mechanical strength, good opaque performance; it is suitable for high-speed rotary printing machine.

What is the process of making news paper?
The production of news paper is generally divided into two basic processes: news pulp and making news paper. Pulp making is the process of using mechanical, chemical, or a combination of both methods to dissociate plant fiber raw materials into natural or bleached news pulp. Making news paper is the process of combining news pulp fibers suspended in water through various processing techniques to create news pages that meet various requirements.
A newspaper mill generally needs to store enough raw materials for 4-6 months, allowing them to undergo natural fermentation during storage to facilitate pulp making and ensure continuous production of the newspaper mill. In the material preparation section, raw materials such as reeds, wheat straw, and wood are cut into pieces (for producing chemical pulp) or wood chips (for producing ground wood pulp), and then the small pieces of raw materials are put into a steamer with chemical solution and steamed with steam to cook the raw materials into news pulp, or the wood chips are sent to a wood mill to be ground into news pulp, or they can be steamed to a certain extent and then ground into news pulp. Then wash the news pulp with a large amount of water, and remove coarse pieces, knots, stones, and sand from the pulp through screening and purification. According to the requirements of the type of news paper, bleach the news pulp to the desired whiteness, and then use a pulping equipment for pulping.
Then, various auxiliary materials such as fillers, adhesives, and sizing agents that improve the performance of news paper are added to the news pulp, and purified and screened again. Finally, it is sent to the news paper machine for filtration, pressing and dehydration, drying in the dryer, calendering and coiling, and then cut and rewound or cut to produce roll news paper and flat news paper. If the production is to produce coated printed news paper, it needs to be dried in the middle or produced into rolls of news paper and then coated for processing.
The process flow of news paper
1、 Squeezing pulp
The production process of news paper first involves squeezing the pulp. There are many methods for squeezing pulp, among which the most commonly used is the mixing method of chemical pulp and mechanical pulp. First, mix the raw materials such as wood or waste paper with water, then place them in a heater for heating to soften them. Then, through pressing and screening, remove the wood chips and impurities to obtain a pulp.
2、 Paper making
Next is the papermaking process. The pulp is processed with starch and then poured into a paper machine, where it undergoes processes such as defoaming, screening, pressing, and drying to complete the formation of news paper. The speed of paper machines is very fast, capable of producing tens of meters per second.
3、 Processing
After the news paper is formed, it still needs to go through a processing step. Processing mainly involves two steps: cutting and printing. Due to the fact that the paper produced by paper machines is not of standard size, it needs to be cut according to demand and cut into standard sized paper. In terms of printing, it mainly involves printing news layout information and advertisements to enhance the value of news paper.
4、 Packaging
The final step is packaging. In the packaging process, news paper needs to be bundled and packaged for easy transportation and storage. Generally, plastic film or paper is used for packaging, and the size of the packaging varies depending on the transportation vehicle and storage space.
