Ivory coated board paper production line is mainly used for the surface coating process of packing paper. This Paper Coating Machine is to coat the rolled base paper with a layer of Clay paint for high grade printing function, and then rewind it after drying. The paper coating machine is suitable for single-sided or double-sided coating of paper board with a base paper basis weight of 100-350g/m², and the total coating weight (one-side) is 30-100g/m². Whole machine configuration: hydraulic paper rack; blade coater; hot air drying oven; hot finishing dryer cylinder; cold finishing dryer cylinder; two-roll soft calender; horizontal reeling machine; paint preparation;rewinder.

In order for paper and cardboard to have the above functions, pulp or base paper (cardboard) must be processed. Usually there are chemical treatment, mechanical treatment, or comprehensive treatment. From the perspective of processing profession, it can be divided into the following processing methods:
(1) Cellulose modification processing method
This method includes modifying cellulose itself and using pulp treated with chemical additives in the papermaking process to obtain processed paper with special properties. Adding additives during the papermaking process, such as adding mold inhibitors, absorbents, flame retardants, etc. to the pulping machine or batching tank, and then processing the paper into finished products.
(2) Immersion processing method
- Immersion process
This method involves engineering processing or secondary processing. The surface and interior of the paper layer are filled with emulsions of synthetic or high molecular weight compounds, which are processed by coating, impregnation, bonding, and other methods. Suitable additives are not limited to high molecular weight compounds, such as flame retardants, rust inhibitors, conductive agents, and other types of low molecular weight compounds, which can also be combined together and flexibly applied according to the purpose of the paper. - Impregnation equipment head and its drying ordinary impregnation equipment head. For lightweight impregnation, spray method can be used. Other methods include brush method, sponge method (the feeding roller is wrapped in sponge, and after contact with paper, the impregnation liquid overflows), etc. In short, the purpose of sufficient impregnation should be achieved.
(3) The composite processing method is not only used for processing paper substrates, but also for plastic films, textile materials, wood products, metal foils, etc. A typical composite process for liquid packaging paper is carried out in a polyethylene extrusion machine. After the front of the composite paper is printed, it enters the process and is covered with plastic. Then, the back is coated with adhesive to composite the aluminum foil and paper, and the other side of the aluminum foil is bonded with two layers of extrusion film, thus forming the liquid paper box packaging material.
(4) Coating processing technology, in a narrow sense, is actually developed from the surface sizing process of ancient paper. It can be divided into pigment dispersion coating, water-soluble clear liquid coating, solvent based clear liquid coating, and hot melt coating. Summarize these types of coating processing purposes to give paper the following properties. Although coated paper is not household paper, this special type of paper is common in daily life. Why is coated paper so special? That’s because the coating paper contains high-tech ingredients. In fact, the use of coated paper has already penetrated people’s production and life, but we don’t know that it is coated paper.
