Characteristics of Automatic Control System for Glass Kilns

Electronic weighing mechanisms generally refer to measuring units composed of sensors, weighing bins, feeding equipment (pneumatic or electric valves/electric vibrators/spiral cutters), and discharge equipment. They can also be belt feeding scales, spiral feeding scales, etc;

Generally, one weighing control instrument is connected to one electronic weighing mechanism, which can correspond to one or more raw material warehouses;

PLC, as the logic control core, executes the weighing operation of the electronic scale according to the process formula requirements;

Industrial computers (fully compatible with ordinary computers and more adaptable to harsh industrial environments) act as upper computers for human machine dialogue

The components of the weighing and batching automatic control system in the glass factory include a material batching control system mainly for bulk materials. The weighing and batching automatic control system consists of four parts: electronic weighing mechanism, weighing control instrument, PLC, and industrial computer

The main content of the weighing and batching automatic control system measurement software is:

Measurement control has manual, semi-automatic, and fully automatic operation modes, and can be switched at any time;

Formula table: Formula number, formula name, raw material barrel number, raw material name, measured weight, can store more than 2000 formulas;

Raw material list: raw material barrel number, raw material name, measurement level, drop, supply of large and small materials, valve opening and closing time;

Dynamic measurement program table: including the name of the measuring institution, measurement time, stabilization time, output, and zeroing;

Measurement display main interface: including the name of the measuring institution, the total weight set for measurement, the actual total weight currently measured (dynamically displayed), the name of the material currently measured, the set weight of the material currently measured, and the actual weight of the material currently measured (dynamically displayed);

Main interface of metering control: Set the following button switches – metering start, metering stop, forced single step stop (skipping a certain raw material metering), forced full stop (jumping directly to the end), metering (ingredient) reset (return);

Raw material statistics report: It can calculate the weight consumption of certain, several or all raw materials on the same day, month or during a certain period of time;

Formula Production Statistics Report: It can calculate the weight of one, several, or all formula production on the same day, in the current month, or during a certain period of time in a certain month. The two measuring institutions, 1 # and 2 #, can be separately or combined for statistics;

● There is an alarm for measuring upper and lower limits exceeding the tolerance limit;

● Hierarchical management of user operation permissions: a Super user – can set and adjust all functions; b. Recipe administrator – can only set recipes; c. System maintenance administrator: can only set and modify measurement parameters such as load sensors, and cannot see any formula information.

5、 The raw materials for glass factory batching (kiln batching) include granular, powdered, broken glass, and water. The general feeding and discharging methods are as follows:

▲ Granular – Choose vibration/belt mode;

▲ Powder form – spiral mode;

▲ Broken glass – belt/chain plate method;

▲ Water – Electromagnetic valve/variable frequency water supply;

When the output of a single unit is less than 25t/h, one material warehouse can correspond to one weight loss scale (please refer to section 1 below for details of weight loss scales);

When it is necessary to use a cutter for feeding and discharging, or when the output of a single unit is greater than 25t/h, or when higher measurement accuracy is required, the measurement bin method is used, and one measurement bin can have multiple raw material bins.
